At Ethnik, we are committed to ensuring your complete satisfaction with every purchase. Our refund policy is designed to be transparent and customer-friendly. Please read the following information carefully to understand how refunds work at Ethnik.

Our Promise

We offer a 100% refund guarantee on all eligible returns. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will make it right through a refund, exchange, or store credit - whichever you prefer.

Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund under the following circumstances:

  • The product is delivered in a damaged or defective condition
  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product has significant manufacturing defects
  • The product description was materially inaccurate
  • The order was cancelled before shipment
  • The product failed to meet quality standards upon inspection

Refund Methods

We offer multiple refund options for your convenience:

1. Original Payment Method

Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during purchase. For card payments, it may take 5-10 business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank.

2. Bank Transfer

If you paid via COD (Cash on Delivery), we will request your bank account details to process the refund via NEFT/IMPS transfer. This typically takes 3-5 business days.

3. Store Credit

You can opt for store credit which will be added to your Ethnik account. Store credit never expires and can be used for any future purchases. As a bonus, we add an extra 5% to your refund amount when you choose store credit!

Partial Refunds

In certain situations, partial refunds may be granted:

  • Products with minor defects that don't affect usability (20-30% refund)
  • Late returns (beyond 7 days but within 15 days)
  • Products missing original packaging or tags
  • Products showing signs of light use or handling

Note: Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong/damaged product).

Cancellation Refunds

If you cancel your order before it is shipped:

  • Full refund will be processed within 24-48 hours
  • No cancellation charges apply
  • For COD orders, no action is required from your end

If you cancel after shipment but before delivery:

  • Shipping charges will be deducted from the refund
  • Refund will be processed after the product is returned to us

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account or credit card statement again
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank - refunds may take time to be officially posted
  3. If you've done all of this and still haven't received your refund, please contact us at ethnik26@gmail.com with your order number and refund reference

Sale Items

Only regular-priced items are eligible for refunds. Sale items (purchased during clearance, flash sales, or with discount codes over 30%) can only be exchanged or returned for store credit unless they are defective.

Gift Cards & Vouchers

  • Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash
  • Promotional vouchers cannot be reissued if the order is refunded
  • If a gift card was used for purchase, the refund will be issued as store credit

Refund Deductions

The following deductions may apply to your refund:

Return shipping (non-defective items) ₹100 - ₹200 (based on location)
Missing original packaging 10% of product value
Product showing signs of use Up to 50% of product value
Late return (8-15 days) 15% restocking fee

Refund Status Updates

You will receive email/SMS notifications at each stage:

  • When your return request is approved
  • When the pickup is scheduled
  • When we receive and inspect your return
  • When your refund is initiated
  • When your refund is processed (with transaction reference)
